Kiskadee Casa

Jungle gem Positive: Krásná lokalita, spousta zvîřat jako opice, ptáci, Aguti, leguáni, hadi. Atmosféra ubytování je výjjmečná, vybavení skvělé. Negative: Velmi nepohodlná postel v pokoji nejblíže vchodu, matrace byla velmi měkká.

Great location, wonderful views. Positive: Location, views,in the canopy. Facilities were good. WiFi good. Pool. Laundry facilities (once we had the code to access). Negative: Minor. Slightly dated and missing items we would Have expected. Such as bedside lights for each guest, plug for bathroom sink, mirror in each bedroom. Broken chair at table.

Positive: the house is super fitted for having a nice time in Quepos. located on the road out of Quepos towards the Manuel Antonio Park. Negative: the house is located inside a gated area but there is not a clear sign to guide you to it.

Super Unterkunft - jederzeit wieder! Positive: Die Unterkunft war nahezu perfekt. Sehr gut ausgestattet, alles sauber, bequeme Betten, sehr gute Lage nahe Manuel Antonio in einer gesicherten Gegend, erhöht gelegen in den Bäumen. Morgens haben wir mehrmals Affen vom Balkon aus gesehen. Negative: Nur die Auffahrt zur Unterkunft war bei regnerischen Verhältnissen schwierig, weil die Straße nicht bis zur Unterkunft geteert und sehr steil ist.

We had a brilliant time, after this experience we would go back to Costa Rica tomorrow if we could!! Positive: We had a fantastic time at Kiskadee Casa it was a magical experience and one none of us will forget. Whilst the property is only a short walk from Quepos it is in the forest and pretty secluded. The house was clean and well equipped and the pool was lovely. Quepos felt like a nice safe town with everything you need and numerous nice restaurants are only a short drive away. Booking excursions was easy and most times we arranged to be collected from close to the house. What makes Kiskadee Casa so special is its location, sitting on the balcony overlooking the forest is amazing, the wildlife was more than we could have imagined, we saw Toucans, Vultures, Humming Birds, Scarlet Macaws, Agoutis, Monkeys, Coatis, exotic butterflies etc, etc. without even leaving our house. Negative: Not much could have been better, we didn't have any gas in the oven but managed with a BBQ, this didn't really affect us and we had all the numbers we needed to make contact and sort it out if needed. Just be aware that if you are with a young family one of the bedrooms is a little isolated. Basically 2 bedrooms and living space are on the 1st floor, to access the third bedroom you have to leave the house go down an external stair case to a further bedroom on the ground floor. Walking up the final hill to the property is a bit of a mission in the heat but was worth it to experience its location. Finding the property in the dark on arrival wasn't the easiest. The directions get you to a local gym which is actually really close to the house but in the dark it felt a bit difficult to work out the last few metres. However there is a manned gatehouse to get into the property a few metres above the gym (look for the yellow barrier).
